Hold Yuh Riddim is one of those 2010 dancehall sets that rode a song into a whole secondary life. Ricky Blaze’s production gave Gyptian’s “Hold Yuh” its clean, magnetic bounce: sparse drums, a bright digital pulse, and a melody that leaves plenty of air for the vocals to stretch out.
