High Medz is a compact 2021 dancehall set from Fari Don Records, and it keeps the focus on streetwise hooks more than any heavy conceptual angle. The eight-track run moves through a mix of brash party talk and self-made bravado, with Tenae’s “Big Life, ” Da Haytian’s “Greatest, ” and Lexie Thickness on “Wull It Out” setting the tone early before the pairings start to thicken things up. Askalade and Mad Daag6 bring a sharper back-and-forth on “Never We Never Say, ” while Lybran’s “Dweet” and the Bully Frass/Krazy Flamez combo keep the energy rolling without losing the raw, local edge.
