NO TEST RIDDIM PART 2 – RUFF LION’S PRODUCTIONS 2021

Five cuts deep, No Test Riddim Part 2 keeps the focus tight, with Afrokan, Baron Black, Dawee, Mc Duc and Maylan Manaza, and Straika D each taking a swing at Ruff Lions Productions’ 2021 dancehall framework. The first No Test set had eight tracks and came out late in 2020, so this follow-up feels like a shorter, more concentrated second chapter rather than a full rerun. Composed by Voice, aka Marc Ozier Lafontaine, it leans into a rough, hard-edged Caribbean dancehall pulse, and the sequencing moves from solo statements into the Mc Duc and Maylan Manaza pairing before Straika D closes things out. That shape gives the release a clear arc, as if the producer wanted each tune to hit like its own round before the next one steps in.
