Henkel Riddim – Main Street Music

Produced by Main Street Music in 1995, Henkel Riddim is a dancehall juggling with just three cuts, led by Hawkeye’s Henkel Mum and Lt. Stitchie’s Pot Hole. The set is a compact late-90s-style piece from Main Street’s catalogue, with Hawkeye also appearing on the version cut, and Stitchie bringing the kind of sharp, fast delivery that helped make him a familiar name in Jamaican dancehall. It’s a rare-riddim item rather than a crowded compilation, which gives the two vocal tunes and the instrumental version plenty of room to carry the release.
