2000 dancehall brings Venomous Production’s Hallo Yeah, also known as the Fire Haffi Riddim, a six-track juggling built around a strong early-2000 lineup led by Elephant Man’s Fire Haffi Bun, Danny English’s Mix Up and Blenda, and Harry Toddler’s We Nuh Care. The set also features Michael Buckley and Lazer on Girl You’re The Bomb, plus Burtous and Mr Murphy on the title cut and Lazer on A Nuh Nutten. Venomous Production is credited to Lyndon Hull, and the riddim also turns up in that producer’s wider catalog under the Venomous name. It’s a compact, street-facing release with the kind of fast-paced energy that was carrying dancehall into the new decade.
