The Gunz Up Riddim keeps things sharp and street-level, with that early-2000s dancehall tension humming under just three cuts: Elephant Man’s “Haters, ” Mr Vegas’ “Dangerous, ” and T. O. K. ’s “Dead Zone. ” Elephant Man is the obvious spark here, barking over the beat with the kind of clipped delivery that made him a radio and sound-system staple in 2004, but the real shape of the riddim comes from how lean the whole thing is. There’s no extra filler, no long list of voices competing for space, just three artists working the same hard-edged pulse from different angles.
