Government Law Riddim – Suncycle Production

Suncycle Production took a fairly bare-bones route with Government Law Riddim, and that suits the tune-up just fine: four cuts, no wasted motion, and a tight little 2010 reggae set that feels more like a focused session than a big showcase. Dolamite’s “Government Laws” leans into the title with a stern, rootical stance, while Lisa Hyper’s “Rolling Deep” brings a bit more movement and personality to the same rhythm bed. Zagu Zrr’s “Suffering” keeps the pressure on, giving the riddim a sharper social edge, and the Suncycle instrumental sits in the middle as the anchor. Coming out in 2010, it lands in that period when small, self-contained riddims were still carrying plenty of weight across the scene.
