A crisp, mid-tempo dancehall cut with a clean live-wire bounce, Golden Gate Riddim leans toward conscious and melodic voices rather than straight gunman energy. A. M. G Productions lines it up with C Sharp’s “Whats The Matter With The World, ” D Major’s “Speak The Truth, ” Fantan Mojah’s “Let Me Be The One, ” and Konshens on “Dont Waste Your Talent, ” with Lukie D, Nicky B and Tifa also in the mix. The sequence even folds in a straight instrumental and two Tessane Chin versions of “Broken Melody, ” including a semi-acapella mix that changes the feel of the riddim late in the run. The project was released in 2008 and carries 16 tracks in all.
