Garrison March Overview
Behind every great dancehall release, there is a team that helps shape the sound. For the Garrison March Riddim, the studio hand was key. The riddim came from PALM ENTERTAINMENT / YOUTH BLACK FAITH RECORDS, two labels known for pushing modern dancehall forward. PALM ENTERTAINMENT has worked with several rising and established artists over the years, helping to bring new energy to the genre. YOUTH BLACK FAITH RECORDS is recognized for its focus on authentic street sounds. When Garrison March Riddim dropped in 2013, it quickly became a yard anthem. The project brought together a strong lineup of artists. Munga, known for his hit "Bad From Mi Born," delivered "Nuh Chat," a song full of confidence and lyrical skill. Bucky Ital added his voice with "Do A Ting Fi Di Poor," showing his commitment to real-life struggles. Merital Family, famous for their collaboration with Vybz Kartel on "My Money (Ha Ha)," gave fans "Haunted," a track with catchy hooks. Richest Da Sickest joined the compilation with "No Violation," bringing his own style to the riddim. Blade (Merital) offered "Brave And Bold," while Chilando came in with "Watch Dem." Isaac Faith rounded out the lineup with "Grind Harder," a song about determination. Each artist brought a different energy, but the riddim tied everything together.
