FUSION RIDDIM produced by SCIKRON ENTERTAINMENT 2011
Fusion Overview
Behind many great dancehall projects is a skilled studio hand, shaping the sound and energy. In 2011, SCIKRON ENTERTAINMENT brought their own touch to the Fusion Riddim. Known for working with fresh voices and sharp beats, SCIKRON ENTERTAINMENT has built a reputation for modern dancehall with a classic vibe. The label’s productions often find their way into DJ sets and dancehall parties, keeping their music in rotation. Fusion Riddim featured a strong lineup of artists. Cecile, one of Jamaica’s most recognized female dancehall singers, delivered "Haterz." She is known for her hit "Can You Do the Work" with Sean Paul, and her confident style shines here. D Major added his song "Formula," bringing smooth vocals. D Major is respected in the reggae scene and has worked with stars like Busy Signal. Iceman gave fans "This Way To My Room," showing his unique flow. Richie Loop and Future Fambo teamed up for "Drink Drink," a party track that fits their energetic style. Richie Loop is known for his 2010 hit "My Cupp," while Future Fambo has worked with Beenie Man. Sanjay’s "Mamacita" adds a catchy, Latin-influenced twist. Voicemail, famous for their dance tracks, contributed "Rodeo." Even years later, selectors still play Fusion Riddim for its lively, old-school dancehall feeling.
