Ceejay’s “Murder” sets the tone on Full Clip Riddim with the kind of hard-edged, gunman-minded energy that runs straight through Drizzy Music Production’s six-track dancehall set. The lineup keeps that pressure on without sounding one-note: Double Tro’s “Dog Teeth, ” Ejaay’s “Dem a Chat, ” Terror’s “Dem Nuh Bad, ” Thugy Lord’s “Kill Quick, ” and Warchild’s “Dead Body” all lean into menace, street talk, and a clipped, no-nonsense delivery that suits the title perfectly. Released on March 28, 2021 as a tight six-song EP, it moves fast and stays locked on violent imagery and swagger, with each artist trying to outdo the last on a riddim that feels built for tension rather than relief. Ceejay’s opener is the sharpest punch, though, and “Murder” leaves the hardest imprint here.
