Full Charge Riddim lands in that hard-edged 2012 dancehall pocket where sharp hooks and streetwise energy do most of the talking, and Full Charge Records keeps the pace tight across nine cuts from eight artists. Demarco’s “Untill Now” and Laden’s “Gal Ting” give it some star pull, while Zagga doubles up with “Mi Charge” in both raw and clean versions, which hints at the label chasing radio play without losing the grit. Around them, Ang, Dane Ray, Ninja Kid, Squaddy and Stacious fill out a tracklist that moves like a proper sound-system session, with the title itself doing a lot of the heavy lifting. Produced by Full Charge Records, the set runs nine tracks deep and was issued in 2012, with Zagga’s two versions closing things out.
