Fruit Burst Overview

The Fruit Burst Riddim was a standout soca project of 2015, featuring three tracks that became favorites during Carnival. The riddim included College Boy Jesse with "Thunder Roll," Syr with "Dont Tell," and the instrumental "Fruit Burst Riddim" by Spine Sd Production. Each track brought a different energy to the parade, but all shared the same lively backbone of horns and fast-paced beats. College Boy Jesse’s "Thunder Roll" captured the excitement of Carnival with its bold vocals and memorable hooks. Jesse is well known in the soca world, especially after winning the 2019 International Soca Monarch Groovy title with his song "Happy Song." His work on "Thunder Roll" added to his growing reputation as a crowd-pleaser and strong performer. Syr’s "Dont Tell" offered another burst of energy to the riddim. Syr brought a unique style to the project, helping to keep the parade moving and the crowd engaged. Each artist’s contribution turned the Fruit Burst Riddim into a must-play for DJs and masqueraders alike. The riddim itself, crafted by Spine Sd Production, was built for the road and the club.
