Freedom Riddim – Fireborn Music Studio

Freedom Riddim was released in 2023 by Fireborn Music Studio as a nine-track dancehall set with a strong ZimDancehall lean, bringing together Fuje, Guspy Warrior, Mr Attention, King Tom, Metallic, Mr Koncious, Young Ali, Khumbulani, and Tropican. The lineup moves from Fuje’s Don’t Give Up and Guspy Warrior’s Ready to Mr Attention’s title track Freedom and King Tom’s Zvichaita Rini, with the whole project running about 30 minutes. It has a distinctly Zimbabwean feel in both the songwriting and the mix of singers across the roster, and Fireborn Music Studio keeps the riddim tight enough to give each voice room without losing momentum.
