1983’s Freedom Fighter Riddim comes out of the Hitbound, Heartbeat, CSA and Sunset camp, with production credits tied to Errol Lewis, Errol Marshall, Sugar Minott, Peter Chemist, Clive Jarrett and Beswick Phillips. The four-song set pairs Half Pint’s title cut with Sugar Minott’s Keep On Loving You, Al Campbell’s Leaving To Zion and King Everald’s Tell Me, giving the rhythm a strong early-80s roots-and-dancehall feel.
