Charly Black’s “Bend Ova” feels like the obvious pressure point here, a cheeky crowd-mover that sits nicely beside Macka Diamond’s “Head Hott” and Scotch Bonnet’s “More Gal, ” three cuts that give the project its sharpest edge. Tiana, Dejavu, Willy Chin, and Terro 3000 keep the energy moving without breaking the mood, while the raw-and-radio doubles on “More Gal” and “Bend Ova” add that extra bit of yard-style flexibility. The whole thing dates to 2012, and it plays like one of those compact riddim sets that was built for the dance first, paperwork later.
