Formula Riddim from Gold Spoon Production landed in 1997 as a straight-up dancehall juggling with seven cuts and seven different artists, led by Baby Wayne’s A Couldn’t You, General B’s Run From We, and Roundhead’s Monster Trace. The set also includes an instrumental version from Formula, which gives the riddim a little extra breathing room between the vocal tracks. Teetimus is also linked to the production, which fits the hard, late-90s dancehall pulse running through the whole release. Mr Washington, Quick Kill Formula, and Vigilante round out the lineup with tough street-facing tunes that keep the vibe moving.
