    Fisherman produced by Lee Scratch Perry, Lloyd Campbell, Roydel Johnson, Cedric Myton for Congo, Joe Frasier in 1977

    Released in 1977, Fisherman Riddim comes out of the classic Lee Scratch Perry-era Congo/Joe Frasier orbit, with the original Fisherman cut tied to The Congos and later versions carrying the riddim through a strong mix of roots voices and revival-era artists. The lineup includes A. R. P. with Row Fisherman, George Nooks with Be Strong, Glen Washington with Let Me Be The One, Big Youth with Feed A Nation, and Dean Fraser with Fishermans Anthem, alongside Al Pancho, Horace Andy, Gregory Isaacs, and others. The project is rooted in Perry’s production style and later expanded under Lloyd Campbell’s Joe Frasier connection and the Congo label work from Roydel Johnson and Cedric Myton, giving it a broad bridge from late-70s roots to 2000s reworks.
