A tight nine-track juggling, Firestone Riddim keeps its focus on a small but lively cast, with Da’Nandi, Jinyus, Squasha, Ajrenalin, Saine, Junior Bee and Trigga all taking turns over the same mid-tempo groove. Jinyus’ “B. Y. F” and Ajrenalin’s “Nowhere” both come in raw and clean versions, which gives the set a bit of extra movement, while Junior Bee’s “Mek Dis Money” leans into the money-talk side of dancehall with a more straightforward, street-level charge.
