Escadron Riddim comes in hard and militant, with 13 voices circling K-One Productions’ 2012 dancehall cut. The tracklist leans heavily into French and Creole street talk, so even without leaning on big-name crossover bait, it keeps a rough, regional edge that suits the title’s warlike tone. Tiwony’s “C’est La Guerre” sets the mood early, while Profesy, Fefe Typical and Jahjah Man push the riddim through protest, politics and pressure, and the whole thing keeps that tense, rallying energy right through to Fat Kosta’s “Warria. ” The version is there too, but it’s the vocal side that does the heavy lifting.
