The Elude riddim leans into a clean, hard-edged dancehall swing with just enough room for the artists to play different angles across the six cuts. Damel opens with “Make It Home, ” while Firstpage teams with Ika on the slyer “See Di Bag Deh” and Shemdan cuts through with the sharper, more clipped “Pock Up And Gwaan. ” Terrify gets the most space here, first on the boastful solo “Money Pon Top A Money” and then again on “Star It” alongside Racko Dan, Pangy G and Kautioni, a cut that feels like the natural centrepiece of the set. Produced by Firstpage and H. B. R Records Loyal Linkz in 2014, the project keeps its focus tight and its vocals mostly in straight-up dancehall mode, with Terrify’s second outing leaving the strongest mark.
