“Dung A Town” lands in that late-2000s Big Yard pocket where dancehall was leaning hard on crisp, minimal juggling and sharp one-drop bounce rather than clutter. Produced by Big Yard Records in 2008, the five-cut set keeps the focus tight: D-Linx opens with “Loving We No Shorta, ” but the heavier shots come from Kiprich’s sly “Gal Clown, ” Hawkeye’s cutting “Dem Badmind, ” and Macka Diamond’s “Them No Qualify. ” It’s the kind of riddim built for voices with personality, and Big Yard lets each artist work the groove without crowding it.
