In 2009, the Dubwise Riddim became a favorite in roots reggae sessions. This project brought together top artists and showed how reggae could blend with other sounds. The riddim mixes classic roots reggae with touches of dancehall and even a bit of modern hip hop. The strong percussion and deep bass make it easy to enjoy on any sound system. Assassin’s track, "Priority," stands out with sharp lyrics and a confident style. Assassin, also known as Agent Sasco, is respected for his powerful delivery and work on songs like "Mix Up" and later collaborations with international artists. Beenie Man brings his unique voice to "Love Is Lovely." As a Grammy-winning artist, Beenie Man is known globally for hits such as "Who Am I (Sim Simma)." His smooth flow fits well with the riddim’s roots feel. Busy Signal’s "Spliff Tail" shows his skill in mixing reggae and dancehall. Busy Signal is famous for songs like "Night Shift" and has worked with artists worldwide. Lutan Fyah’s "Informer" adds a conscious message, as he is known for his roots reggae focus. Peetah Heritage, from the group Morgan Heritage, brings a soulful touch with "Warzone." Morgan Heritage won a Grammy for Best Reggae Album in 2016, and Peetah’s voice is a key part of their sound. The music arranger used live instruments and digital effects to create a fresh yet classic feel.
