Dub Land Riddim produced by Dubiteria 2009
Dub Land Overview
In 2009, a new roots reggae instrumental started to take shape in the studio. Guided by the careful hands of Dubiteria, a producer known for his deep love of dub and reggae traditions, the riddim began as a simple, steady groove. Dubiteria, who has released music on the Irie Ites label and is respected for his modern approach to roots reggae, worked closely with his team to create a sound that honored classic reggae while feeling fresh. The dub engineer, Dubiterian, played a key role in shaping the final sound. With his skillful mixing, he added echo, reverb, and space, giving the riddim its signature dub flavor. The instrumental soon became the foundation for a set of songs that would draw attention from reggae fans around the world. Natty King, known for his hit "No Guns To Town," brought his strong, conscious voice to "Blaze The Chillum." Rebellion The Recaller, a Gambian artist with a reputation for uplifting messages, delivered "Live By The Truth." Fitta Warri, who once collaborated with Sly & Robbie, sang "Addis Ababa," adding spiritual depth. Naptali, a Jamaican singer respected for his roots sound, performed "Binghi Man Nah Partial." Ras Macbean, from Guyana, offered "I Shall Not Cease," continuing his journey after the release of his acclaimed album "Pack Up & Leave." Lei Di Dai and Dubiterian also contributed, with "Lei Di Dai" and "Dub Land" respectively.
