TJ Records’ Drink Up Riddim arrived in 2014 as a dancehall juggling led by Vybz Kartel’s Drink Up and Mavado’s Hotter Than Bread, with added cuts from Beenie Man, I-Octane, Christopher Martin, and the duet from Shifta and Chenelle. The set also includes the instrumental and keeps the line-up tight across seven tracks, giving it a compact, all-star feel. TJ Records was behind the production, and the riddim circulated in October 2014, the same period when Kartel’s title cut was getting the most attention.
