Dre Blunt’s “Still Standing” gives Disorder Riddim its steadiest hook, and that’s probably the cut that anchors Chasmata Productions’ 2011 dancehall set. The project keeps things tight with just three songs, so J-Beagle and Paradax’s “Wah Fi Rich” and Lil Askel’s “Want A Better Life” have room to land without the usual compilation clutter. There’s a faint sequel energy in the title too: this came before Chasmata’s later Chemical X Riddim, and together the two releases suggest a label leaning into darker, science-fiction-flavoured naming while keeping the arrangements aimed squarely at dancehall sound systems. Disorder sits neatly in that early-2010s corner of the catalogue, compact and unflashy, with enough grit to make the vocal turns do the heavy lifting.
