DISCERNMENT RIDDIM produced by JUSA DEMENTOR 2013
Discernment Overview
In 2013, the bashment flow was everywhere in Jamaica. The clubs were alive with heavy dancehall beats, and the energy on the dancefloor was real. This was the year the Discernment Riddim dropped, bringing a new sound that matched the high spirits of the crowd. Behind the scenes, the sound engineer played a big role. The engineer’s careful mixing made sure every drum hit and vocal stood out. This clear, crisp sound helped the riddim stand tall against other big releases of the year. The producer, JUSA DEMENTOR, was the mastermind of Discernment Riddim. Known for his sharp ear and creative vision, JUSA DEMENTOR had already made a mark in the dancehall scene. His productions often reached a wide audience and pulled in thousands of streams, showing his strong influence. On this riddim, Kevin Lylod Ft Zj Liquid brought the track “New York Jamaica.” Zj Liquid is well known in dancehall, not just as an artist but also as a top selector and radio personality. His work on “New York Jamaica” added real flavor to the project. Esco Ft I Candy delivered “Rock My World,” a song that showed both artists’ chemistry. I Candy, who also appears solo on “Rock My World,” is recognized for her energetic performances and catchy hooks. Abraham’s “Heartbeat” added another layer to the riddim, showing the range of talent on the project. In the middle of a strong year for bashment music, Discernment Riddim stood out. The teamwork between the producer, sound engineer, and artists made this release a highlight of 2013’s dancehall scene.
