Dangerous Love Riddim – Mixmaster Chao

Mixmaster Chao’s Dangerous Love Riddim arrived in 2020 as a seven-song reggae set built around a tight vocal lineup led by Zj Mhat, Black Heart Ke, and Maxyn. The title cut Dangerous Love, along with Virtuous Woman, Super Woman, and Corrupt System, gives the project a clear theme, with songs leaning into love, uplift, and social commentary. It was released as a concise May 2020 riddim and, like a lot of Chao’s work from that period, keeps the focus on clean rootsy arrangements and straightforward message songs rather than heavy ornament.
