Cross Breed Riddim – Ajang Music Prodcutions

Cross Breed Riddim feels like a leaner, more street-facing Ajang Music production than a big headline-grabbing showcase, with just six cuts moving through the set and no wasted space. The 2012 dancehall project leans on familiar club-ready talk and everyday uplift, but it gets its shape from the sequence: “Bring In, ” “Brighter Day, ” and “In Da Club” front-load the energy before Nikisha’s “Lean On Me” and Tyrical’s “Caan Stop Mi” pull it back into tougher, more personal territory. Jermaine Forde’s Ajang credit ties the riddim together, and Kibaki’s “In Da Club” is the one that jumps out most clearly as the anthem-minded cut. That tight six-song run gives the production a compact, almost mixtape-like feel, with each voice entering fast and the riddim keeping its momentum right to the last track.
