Raw Cash Records keeps Clear Conscience Riddim tight and trim, with just four cuts and one artist, Flava Don, carrying the weight on the only repeated song, “Love Again, ” in both Raw and Clean versions. That leaves the spotlight on the other two voices, and the project settles into a straight dancehall groove rather than trying to stretch into anything broader. Iya Champs’ “Every Man” brings the most direct edge, while Sagitarr’s “Truly” closes it out with the kind of tune that hangs on the rhythm’s crisp, no-frills bounce.
