Christmas Wish Riddim – Quantum Productions

Quantum Productions keeps this one light and seasonal, but it still has that proper reggae-riddim feel instead of drifting into novelty territory. Only three cuts are on the set, so the focus stays tight: Mechka’s “No Place Like Home” with Psalmist Jamel leans into the comfort-of-home angle, Tony “Rebel” Bailey’s “Show Love” gives the project its clearest message, and Mylon Clarke’s “Happy Christmas” is the one that lands most directly in holiday mode. The whole thing runs just about 11 minutes, which makes it feel more like a quick December drop than a full-on compilation, and that brevity suits the concept. Released on Christmas Eve 2020 even though it’s often filed under 2021, it arrived right in the pocket for late-season playlists and family rotation.
