The rhythm has a light, rolling reggae pulse rather than anything heavy or militant, leaving room for the vocals to carry the mood, especially on Little Kev’s “Quand la vib’z t’attrape” and Don Valdes with Ras Cup on “Good Vibes. ” Minanoh’s “Solidaires” sets the tone with a conscious edge, while Babelsouk and tsr keep the project moving with clean, no-frills delivery. Bakoua Sound keeps the instrumental lean and steady throughout, and Fyah P closes it out with “Police, ” a final cut that leaves the riddim’s message and bounce intact.
