Buck Toe Riddim produced by Sipo Records 2024
Buck Toe Overview
In 2024, dancehall parties had a special energy, and much of it came from the Buck Toe Riddim. This riddim was everywhere, from street corners to big sound systems. It truly brought people together and kept the dancehall spirit alive. The project was put together by Sipo Records, a label known for supporting fresh dancehall talent. Sipo Records has a history of releasing tracks that capture the real sound of Jamaica. Their focus on quality production made Buck Toe Riddim stand out. The artists on this compilation are some of the biggest names in dancehall. Bounty Killer, a legend in the genre, delivered two tracks: “Life A Di Party” and “Live A Di Party.” Bounty Killer is known worldwide, especially for his hit “Look” with Mya, and he has won the MOBO Award for Best Reggae Act. Cham brought his own style to the riddim with “Top Shatta.” Cham is famous for his 2006 album “Ghetto Story,” which included the international hit “Ghetto Story.” Beenie Man, who is often called the “King of Dancehall,” added “Everybody Dance.” He has won a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album and is known for hits like “Who Am I.” Vershon gave fans “Lavish,” showing why he’s one of the new voices to watch in dancehall. Merciless, a veteran with a long career, contributed “Nah Play.” Merciless is remembered for his classic clash performances and witty lyrics. Looking back, the Buck Toe Riddim brought the perfect party backdrop and helped keep dancehall vibrant in 2024.
