Broken Wings Riddim keeps its energy in the vocal cuts rather than any big studio gimmick. J1 Records lines up nine tracks on the 2016 dancehall set, and the selection leans toward uplift and perseverance, with cuts like Iyara’s “Show Love To Mama, ” Nymron’s “Nah Give Up, ” and Timmy Don’s “Memories Live On” pushing that reflective edge.
