Breakbeat Paradise’s Breakin The Riddim, Vol. 4 arrived in 2022 as a seven-track reggae riddim release, with Jayl Funk’s Come On Little Girl opening the set and Badboe’s Selecta, Funkin Basstards’ Rhizoma, and Pecoe’s Bring Your Booty among the more memorable cuts. The lineup also includes Towlie DJ, DJ Clairvo, and Funkinright, and the project was released by Breakbeat Paradise Recordings on July 1, 2022. It has the label’s glossy, genre-crossing approach to riddim construction, but the emphasis here is on tight, instrumental-friendly arrangements and a funkier bounce than a straight roots or dancehall set.
