The Bodo Riddim lines up a hefty cast of roots voices across 14 tracks, with Beenie Man, Capleton, Cocoa Tea and Horace Andy sitting alongside newer names like Lutan Fyah, Josie Mell and Ras Myrhdak. It’s one of those early-2000s one-riddim sets that keeps the energy in the singers’ hands, and the cut the old-school crowd will gravitate to is probably Cocoa Tea’s “Poverty, ” with Horace Andy’s “Troddin” and Capleton’s “I Know” adding a more reflective edge.
