The strongest pull here is Trini Jacobs’ “Dont Hold Back, ” which feels like the kind of hook that can carry a whole soca set, bright and insistent without losing its street-level bounce. Around it, 3 Suns’ “Baby” and Jungle ft. Keil’s “You Are The One” keep the Blueskyy Riddim moving with that easy Carnival-season lift, while Linkz and One Circle add a couple more voices to the circle. It’s a six-track 2008 cut, all under a simple various-artists credit, and that bare-bones setup suits the release: one riddim, a handful of singers, no wasted motion. The instrumental “Blue Sky Riddim” closes it out like a quick aftertaste.
