Blue Diesel Riddim – Platta Studios

Lil Rick is the easy way into Blue Diesel Riddim, because “Leggings And Jeggings” has the kind of cheeky swagger that makes a soca cut stick, and it sits neatly beside Answar’s “Bounce To This” and Big Red’s “Up In Dey” in a tight five-track set from Platta Studios. The riddim has that bright, road-ready Barbadian feel, all movement and bounce without getting too busy, and the production leaves enough space for each voice to land cleanly. Gorg’s “No Informer” keeps the tempo lively, while Crimeson leans harder into the party side with “Throw A Tantrum, ” which fits the whole thing’s easy Crop Over energy. It’s a compact release, but the tracklist moves with purpose, right down to the title cut tucked in at the end.
