Black Rain Overview
In 2006, the reggae scene felt a new wave of roots energy with the release of the Black Rain Riddim. The journey began in the studios of BOMB RUSH RECORDS, a label known for pushing fresh sounds into the dancehall and reggae world. BOMB RUSH RECORDS had already made a name for itself with several successful riddims, and this time, they wanted to create something with a deep, soulful bass and a classic rocksteady flow. Spragga Benz is respected for songs like "She Nuh Ready Yet (Hype Up)" and has worked with international stars. Cecile added her signature edge to "Some A Da Ting Deh." Danielle’s "Ready Fah" kept the energy high, while Monster Twins delivered "Gal Want Sexin," giving the riddim a playful twist.
