Black Bottle Riddim (2013) – Mais Production

Pangy G’s “White War” gives Black Bottle Riddim its sharpest opening shot, and Mais Production keeps the whole 2013 dancehall set lean, streetwise, and unpolished in the right places. With only four cuts, the riddim doesn’t waste time: Plattynum’s “Nuh Straight (Raw)” leans harder into the rough edge, while Shatty Ordaz’s “Try Fi Style” and Vap Buss’ “Ordaz Hill (Dem A Frame Wi)” keep the vibe rooted in the kind of clash-ready talk that defined a lot of early-2010s basement dancehall. There’s no filler here, just a tight quartet of voices riding the same hard-driving pattern. But it’s Pangy G who leaves the strongest mark, turning “White War” into the tune that gives the riddim its name and its bite.
