Big Rum Riddim – VAL Music is a 2014 soca release produced by VAL Music and Keston “KesKeyz” Patrick, with just two tracks carrying the project’s whole identity: Coopa Dan and Brett Linton on Rum, and Kas Katee and Collegeboy Jesse on Soca Music. The riddim leans into a Crop Over-ready party feel, with the rum theme on one side and a direct soca anthem on the other. Keston “KesKeyz” Patrick’s name gives it an extra local stamp, and the small lineup keeps the focus tight on the vocal pairing and the bounce of the riddim itself.
