Sliding in with a lean little 2014 cut from Uprising Studios, Axiom Riddim keeps the focus on three tracks and a tight dancehall-soca edge: Cherrish’s “Show Me Badness, ” Lead Pipe and Saddis’ “Ah Feeling, ” and Scrilla’s “Fete To Fete. ” The set first surfaced as a Crop Over-linked release dated December 19, 2014, which fits the party-forward energy of the title track and the rum-soaked bounce of “Ah Feeling. ” With only three songs, there’s no dead space here, just a compact run through the rhythm’s bright, percussive swing before Scrilla closes things out with “Fete To Fete, ” a tune that keeps the project in full Carnival mode.
