Almighty Riddim – A Massive Production

A five-cut set, Almighty Riddim keeps the focus tight: Jahki Revi’s “Mr Officer, ” Cris Lion’s “Jah Kingdom, ” and Di Rebel featuring Slim Knight on “No Fear” do the heaviest lifting here, with the latter bringing a tougher edge to the sequence. A Massive Production keeps the framework rootsy and uncluttered, more in the line of a straight-ahead conscious juggling than anything flashy, and that lets the voices carry the weight.
