AFRICA RIDDIM produced by FEED THE CHILDREN 2007
Africa Overview
In 2007, roots reggae fans heard a new instrumental come alive in the studio. The Africa Riddim was built with care, using live drums, deep bass, and classic reggae guitar. The foundation builder wanted to create a sound that felt both modern and rooted in tradition. The studio team worked together to capture a warm, relaxed vibe that would fit many voices. The producer behind the project, FEED THE CHILDREN, played a key role in shaping the sound. Known for working with different reggae artists, FEED THE CHILDREN had already made a name in the reggae scene. Their productions often appear on independent reggae labels and streaming playlists, helping to spread roots music worldwide. Several strong voices joined the Africa Riddim. Anthony B brought his song Whats Going On. Anthony B is known for his energetic style and hits like "Fire Pon Rome." Juice performed Bun Dem Up, adding his own flavor to the mix. Natural Black delivered Me And You Inna Business; Natural Black is well known for his 2006 hit "Far From Reality." Paul Elliott sang Same Set A People Dem, giving a message of unity. Snacher Lion brought The Ghetto Youth Dem A Go On, speaking up for the youth. This roots instrumental was heard at reggae events across 2007, played by sound systems and selectors. The Africa Riddim brought together talented artists and a producer with vision, leaving a mark on roots reggae that year.
