Skelly Dan Records’ 2022 Dancehall project Riddim Hope gathers seven vocal cuts around a hopeful, melodic groove, with Matrixz Tymarztein’s Path (Mirror), Gunzell’s This Life, and the 1NEVocal and Khalifah pairing on Never Lose Hope among the most immediate entries. The line-up also includes Dimon Treajah, Keke Proficient, Yeshkin, and D’naxe, giving the riddim a mix of reflective and uplift-minded songs that stay rooted in modern dancehall. It arrived as a compact eight-track release, including the title instrumental, and it sits neatly alongside the label’s other early-2020s dancehall work with a clean, purpose-built sound and a positive theme running through the whole set.
