Blue Sky Riddim comes in with that hard-edged 2021 dancehall pressure Sky Voice Records has been pushing, and the line-up keeps it tight with Christopher Lee on “Loyalty, ” Em Press Bubbles on “Like A Drum, ” Keyba Sparkes on “Fix It Up, ” plus Papa Beeto doing double duty on “Dancehall Story” and “Tek it Back, ” which gives the set a nice bit of personality in the middle of the heavier cuts. President Mega’s “War Zone” and Prezenta’s “Gallis Anthem” lean into the grit, while the instrumental at the end locks in the mood with a stripped, bass-heavy pulse that doesn’t waste time on frills. It’s an eight-track release with seven unique artists, all carried by Sky Voice Records, and it landed on November 5, 2021.
