Glassback Overview

The Glassback Riddim brought together some of soca’s most exciting voices in 2018. Hardware, Patrice Roberts, Problem Child, and Terrah Dan all added their unique styles to this lively project. Patrice Roberts is well known for her hit “Big Girl Now” and has performed with Machel Montano, one of soca’s biggest stars. Problem Child is also recognized for his songwriting skills and energetic stage presence. Each artist delivered a standout track on the riddim. Hardware performed “No Glassback,” Patrice Roberts sang “No Lazy Body,” while Problem Child and Terrah Dan joined forces for “Work On You.” These songs became favorites during the 2018 carnival season. The truck anthem base was a key part of this riddim’s success. It was used on music trucks throughout the 2018 masquerades, giving the festival streets a powerful and joyful sound.
