White Noize comes in lean and sharp, a two-track dancehall riddim from 2008 that leaves no room for excess. G Maffiah’s “Beat It Pon Dem” and Mr Peppa’s “Hard Loving” keep the focus tight, with the latter adding a smoother, more flirtatious edge against the same stripped-back framework. The production credit is simply listed as Various Artists, but the tune set feels like one of those small-yard sessions where the rhythm does the talking and the voicing has to cut clean through the noise. It’s a quick spin, really, just the title cut energy and a second pass with a different attitude.
