100 Lanes Riddim has that lean, punchy dancehall bounce that feels wired for the dance first, with just enough room in the arrangement for the vocals to cut through cleanly. Riddim Addict keeps the roster tight here: Promise No Promises opens with “Live Life (Dancehall Mix), ” then Tmar steps in on “Body to Body, ” while Ceekaih adds a brighter lift on “Celebrate Life. ” It’s a short set, really more a focused four-track package than a sprawling various-artists compilation, and that gives the production a nice bit of discipline.
