Zombie Riddim – Boomarang

Produced by Boomarang in 1995, Zombie Riddim is a four-track dancehall set that brings together Brown Lion’s Wickedest Ride, Anthony B’s Live Up, Gringo’s Draw Card and Little General’s Zombie. The riddim is also listed as a UK-based Boomerang 12-inch from the same year, which fits the era’s lean, hard-edged dancehall style. Anthony B is the name that tends to draw the most attention here, but Little General’s Zombie gives the riddim its title cut and a clear identity.
